Shipping, Returns & Policies
Shipping Costs
Most small, new items ship for free, even some large items, like running Maytag engines, cart kits, and various other items, ship for free as well. Original parts and used parts ship at a fair cost to the buyer. For a quote on shipping costs, give us a call and we will figure it out for you.
Shipping Methods
Small items go via First Class Mail through the post office. Larger items go either via Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Hazmat items, such as Red Coat gas tank sealer, will ship via UPS Ground. We can also offer expedited and overnight shipping to most locations at a reasonable cost, should you have such a need.
Terms
Cards are charged when the order is placed, checks and money orders are accepted but cards are preferred and guarantee quicker service. Please note: checks may be held until they clear the bank. Most of our orders ship same day or next business day, if it is going to be longer, we will do our best to inform you at the time the order is placed. All claims of shortages or other issues on orders must be reported within 7 days of order receipt.
Guarantee
We guarantee to ship you parts that are in working order and as we represent them. We will not ship out any broken or welded parts that we wouldn’t use ourselves. The original parts are checked and sandblasted before they are shipped out. If you find a problem with a part that we send you, give us a call and we will make it right. We stand behind our parts!
Pricing
Our prices are subject to change and/or correction without notice. There are things that are beyond our control and we have to go with it to stay in business. If you need an exact price, please contact us for a quote, or check flywheel-supply.com as the prices online are normally up to date. It is hard to change it on paper once it is already on there!
Returns
Returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must have a return authorization prior to sending the item back. Most items are accepted for returns if in the same condition that they were in when sent to the buyer. A restocking fee may be charged to cover the cost of shipping the item to you, especially on a free shipping item. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense, unless there was an error on our part, and we will reimburse the cost of shipping or send a return shipping label. We strive for 100% shipping accuracy, but we are all human and some error does occur. Please contact us and we will make every reasonable attempt to correct any issue that you may have with your order.
Return Shipping Instructions
When shipping items back to us or for us to work on, you need to make sure the box it big enough. The box needs to be 6” larger than the items you are shipping with crushed newspaper 3” all the way around the item. If this is not done, UPS or the post office will likely deny any claim that is made if something gets broke. After you tape the box shut, shake it, if you feel the item move, you do not have enough paper in it and most likely it will get broke. We are not responsible from lost or broken items when you ship things to us. If you get an item that is broken or lost in the mail that we shipped to you, we take full responsibility and will work with you to make it right.
Magneto Return Policy
All magnetos carry a 2-year warranty. Warranty work does not include normal maintenance or shipping of the magneto. It must be returned to be inspected and or repaired to be covered under our warranty!
